Funny movies bring both joy and have healing value.
Top 100 all time movies like the 1959 classic comedy "Some Like it Hot" with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, Jack Lemmon and the amazingly stoic Joe E. Brown (depicted as the millionaire next to Jack) prove the point that laughter is a way to feel better.
It is listed on the American Film Institute's top 100 of the last "100 years of funny movies." Watch this and other great classics at our film library by Best Video and DVD here!
According to Arthritis Today magazine's January/February 2012 issue, humor has been shown to help our immune system, by both reducing the stress hormone "cortisol," and increasing natural endorphins which help pain.
We know that stress is seen as an aggrivator to many autoimmune conditions like psoriasis and arthritis.
So give the gift of laughter and help someone feel better for birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day, and just out of love and friendship!
